Break Time!

                                                                                                                                   Thursday, April 14, 2005
I feel its time for a break. Break from writing or reading blogs. My blog ain't that popular anyway:). Jokes apart I feel its taking a considerable amount of my time right now and I feel the need for a break(A tax due to IRS didnot help either). It has become a routine writing posts, reading other blogs and browsing some others and before I feel monotonous and loose interest, I feel a break would be a welcome relief.

Blogging has become too important thing to loose interest or feel constrained, but I feel some time away from it would be a better option and would also help get back enough enthusiasm and interest to blog again for a long time. I guess everyone needs a vacation. I am not sure when I will be writing again, but it could be very soon, probably tomorrow or may be next week or next month. I just need to know how much I miss it. Or may be its just a ploy to get some comments and hits on my blog as I might have run out of ideas to blog. You never know. But comments from you definitely helps in getting back at it fatser.(I guess you saw that coming!!).

Well the reader in me felt was for sure a disappointment:(( I keep seeing people leaving blogworld saying they need a break or they dont feel like writing and all.All i wish is that i dont see many doing that. But then it is ultimately upto u to decide:( but i am sure it is unfair that everyone leaves suddenly. And what abt u r readers?? they come to ur blog, read it and comment and a kind of rappo is built. And suddenly u vanish?notfair:(((
Well, now the commonsense part says that do what is best for u,comeback if u can,and all the very best to u in everything:) i am sure going to miss reading u r posts:)
And if it is only abt comments then i will for sure put in atleast 3 comments on whatever u write;) will it do???

I think you are just suffering the usual writer's block. People don't realise that blogging everyday and keeping that quality up is always tough. Do you think a Rushdie can blog everyday? Twenty days into it, and he'd have to throw his hands up. So, chill, take a break and come back when you are refreshed. In the meanwhile, enjoy the tax money. I just got my return in at the last moment :-)

(Neelima) Thank you for your words. I felt I am spending too much time on it. Thought will take a break, not bcoz I dont like to blog. as I said Just want to see how much part of my life this is.
Do comment , do comment...:) ..Its not going to be a long break though.

(Parth) Naah..its not writers block. I have enough ideas to write about. I want to know if its worth spending so much time on blogging and also see how much I miss it. But its not gonna be long though
Hey I am paying the IRS dude!!..and there is no joy in it.

Hmmmm....Strange as it may seem..but the unthinkable does happen * sigh *

....well....I hope its NOT what I am thinking that prompted you to think about the break!

    > I feel its time for a break.
Alupannadi Unda? You definitely deserve one as well as the fact that it is spring should help.

    >My blog ain't that popular anyway:).

I dont agree with that (Of course depends on our notions of 'popularity' but who the heck writes blogs for popularity)

    >monotonous and loose interest

Did you use MS-Word SpellChecker that corrected "lose" to "loose"

I like your idea of taking a vacation to estimate the importance of blogging in your life.

Have a Relaxing and Refreshing Vacation.,

    "Another one bites the dust
    Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
    Another one bites the dust"

:) But on a more serious note .. its good to take a break for a little bit once in a while. Clear up your mind, Take a breather and Recharge your battery ( after all we are not like the duracell(*or is it energizer*??) bunny to keep "going and going and going" sorry couldn't resist a PJ ;))

    >>Life is too short to THINK about what you DO

Nice funda. Glad you didnot think before commenting, otherwise I wouldn't have got this comment. Alas all the readers think that way...I wouldn't have stopped writing.:)

    (Paddy)
You are so right...its spring and I am having lot of outdoor activity than before.
I don't wirte for popularity, I do get encouraged by comments though:).

Yes I did use MS spell checker. You know what, I am increasingly finding it frustrating to use MS products. As a start I told myself to use FF more regular from now on.

Thanks for you wishes. It sure did lot of time this weekend, but I am already itching to start blogging again. Comments do help you see:)

(PrimalSoup) Thanks P.Soup (sounds so different that way). It sure is fun, blogging is fun too.

    (U totally Rock Dude !)
    "Attention-seeking tactics?
meeeeeee? You got it all wrong dude!!.....these are attention-grabbing tactics.

Great, I got the attention, the comments and now the Coffee. Looks like my blog's marketing team has
    pulled off a great strategy.
