Chiru - My Matchmaker

                                                                                                                                   Wednesday, June 15, 2005
Yup, its true. Even though it sounds crazy, Chiranjeevi , the telugu movie super star, has been asked to look for brides for Yours truly. So technically if he takes the request seriously he would be looking around for a girl.

It all started yesterday, when my bro's family (yup the same NGB) along with my parents who are visiting USA were requested to be part of a marriage audience for a movie shoot of the latest Chiranjeevi movie "Jai Chiranjeeva" in the same city they are living in. Apparently my family happened to meet Chiru (short for Chiranjeevi) in one of the breaks and my already-star-smitten Dad couldn't figure out what to talk so instead explained our whole family tree starting from Darwin's theory of evolution.

He also happen to mention about me and my so called miserable single status and how bad they are looking for a girl and how he could help(indirectly though). I am so glad I wasn't there, could have easily killed myself with embarrassment. On the other hand, it would have worked out well if Dad had suggested the heroine of the movie "Bhumika Chawla" of Tere Naam fame who was also chatting with them. The shooting will go on for a week and I have given clear instructions to my Dad not to mention about me unless it involved Bhumika. So there you are, Chiru , My matchmaker.

Now, why should being single be so miserable ?

And bhoomika Chawla ? The one with a dialated labium ?

Good luck. Don't forget to invite me for the marriage. I would love to meet up with Chiranjeevi and try my luck out !!!

  • #by Blogger Woodooz, at June 16, 2005 12:55 AM

    Read it as "dilated"

  • #by Blogger Paddy, at June 16, 2005 1:21 AM

Well, Tagging works much like Cancer (Apologies for the poor analogy). The idea is to replicate the theme on books.

Now that I tagged you, you need to write a blogpost on pretty much the same template as the one I filled out namely :
Total Number of Books I Own:

    One Book I Couldn't Finish:
Five Books That you cherish :

And finally you pass on the buck by naming 5 other bloggers whose job is just to do the same. Its a meme :)

So I look forward to your post on that :)

    >> Now, why should being single be so miserable ?

apparently my parents think that way...what to do. Sure you are defintely invited.

(Paddy) No..reading books is an alien thing to me. I used to call my undergrad library as "plague zone".

My book tag thinks starts and ends with one word "None, nothing". Hmm 2 words as you see my Mathematics sucks too.

    (tipsy topsy)
Choice? I am right now ready anything remotely feminine:)

    (ratna)
NGB : is my No Good Bro. I wrote 2 posts on him earlier. Check out again I have provided the link this time

    ROTFLMAO
i have absolutely nothing else to say :D

  • #by Blogger anantha, at June 17, 2005 1:10 PM

    Gvenum:
You know what your Bhumika thoughts remind me of? Chiru's sixer song from Tagore - Kodithe kottali ra six kottali.. LMAO!

Go all the way?? hehe :D

Pardon my Telugu.. err.. Its limited to just Chiru movies and the irregular "enntara.. ela unnavu?" type conversation to impress any gal around with my linguistic abilities!

Let me get this straight, your parents are visiting here in the US and Chiranjeevi is shooting for a marriage scene here too?

  • #by Blogger gvenum, at June 17, 2005 2:02 PM

    (j) You did enough by just LYAO.

    (aNTi)
Yeah I saw that movie. Its a remake of a tamil movie.

    >>enntara.. ela unnavu?"

I bet you never had a telugu GF before going by your ways of communicaton with them. But on the other hadn your efforts to learn an alien lang might impress her. So keep it on:)

And about the shooting, you got it right. He was shooting in the same city where my parents are presently staying and apparently got invited to be part of marriage audience.

    Bhumika got a brother??

  • #by Blogger anantha, at June 19, 2005 10:08 AM

gvenum: hey, i know enough telugu to understand that enntara is a guy greeting. i was talking about talking that way to a guy when a telugu gal is around ;)

And ya, I've never had a telugu gf! I might however have a few telugu gals among my legion of admirers. I havent bothered to classify them as yet :D

Anyways, it dont seem to work. So i am looking for other avenues. Mebbe Chiru might be able to help me too. Can i have his contact details ;)LMAO!

  • #by Blogger gvenum, at June 19, 2005 10:29 AM

(Sagnik) Chiru was smart enough not to talk to my family frm the next day and made sure that Bhumika's cabin is moved away from audience. That's it no more chiru movies for me.
and that should take care of ur rejects question:)

(elf) I will only reveal that info if I am hooked up with Bhumika. In all other cases you got "me".

(antI) my sincere apologies for misunderstanding the genious of "anti".
If you classify them as sisters or friends can you please direct their attention to Me and Sagnik in that particular order. We both can use ur rejects:)

  • #by Blogger J, at June 21, 2005 3:30 AM

If Chiru happens to know any hot n interesting men who drive red sports cars n are above 25 but not old enough to be my dad... plz direct them to me will you? :)

  • #by Blogger gvenum, at June 21, 2005 5:01 PM

    (j) Does it have to come from Chiru or
anyone who fits that description is okie?:)

    (Chotu)
It wouldn't have been interesting if you were in my shoes.:)

  • #by Blogger anantha, at June 21, 2005 9:26 PM

J: Yo... all u need to do is head to Chennai, if you are already not around the place. Cos the place is so hot that all the eligible bachelors are hot too! The red sports car... hmmm.. you might have to do some discounting. Mebbe u'd be willing to settle for a red bike!

Gvenum: Entarra Ela Unnavu? Intilo bhojanam aayindha?

  • #by Blogger J, at June 22, 2005 7:29 AM

Gvenum, as long as things fit... its fine with me :)

ANnti, NO... a bike is a big no-no... my awesome hairdo will go fizzy then. And I’m kinda done with the guys in chennai... any in bangalore?

  • #by Blogger gvenum, at June 23, 2005 4:56 PM

    (j) If Chennai doesnot work out, we have few places to suggest starting from Delaware:)

(Anti) No bhojhanam...I am looking for someone who will make bhojan for me:)

    (j) and those things would be....
